Broadsands Beach in Paignton is in an idealistic rural setting, it is a red sandy beach which is between Goodrington and Brixham in Torbay. The beach is particular popular with families.
It's situated between rocky headlands, so is a safe area. There is also parkland next to the beach and a pay car park.
The beach has food outlets, beach huts, and toilets. There is also a large grassed area adjacent to the Promenade.
The large parkland next to Broadsands has a scaled down golf course which is very popular in the summer with visitors and locals alike. Walking on through this parkland for about half a mile and you will arrive at Elbery Cove.
Elberry Cove is at the southern most point of Paignton on the border with Brixham, a pebbled secluded beach surrounded by woodland.
