The famous crime writer Agatha Christie was also a regular visitor and was inspired to write her "Death on the links" here.

The restaurant and bar is the heart of the Churston Court . They are poplar meeting places for guests, business folk and local residents alike. The menu especially offers a superbly cooked range of traditional meats and poultry and has become locally renowned for top quality food service, and excellent value for money.
